Lam Sai Wing

Grand Master Lam Sai Wing was born in 1860 in a village called Ping Chow, Kwangtung province in China.

As a young man he earned his living working in a slaughterhouse as a pork butcher.

Lam Sai Wing inherited the entire Hung Gar system and Dit Da from his SiFu, the great Wong Fei Hung. Lam Sai Wing trained under Wong Fei Hung until the day Wong died.

Lam Sai Wing further helped to spread the art of Hung Gar by publishing three Books: Gung Gee Fook Fu Kuen, Fu Hok Seung Ying Kuen and Tit Sin Kuen. This was the first time anyone published a book on Hung Gar which was available to the general public.

Grand Master Lam Sai Wing was considered as one of the best fighters of his time, but he also was a kind and honest person, he always helped those in need.
