Li Hon Ki
Master Li Hon Ki Ph, D. Born in Hong Kong, the 12th of February 1952, he began his martial arts training at the young age of 7.
Master Li is the former South East Asian Kung Fu Champion, And Former South East Asian Tae Kwon Do Champion.
Master Li Hon Ki was responsible for introducing Hung Gar and Wing Chun to South America. He immigrated to Brazil the 15th of June 1979.
Master Li Hon Ki is a recognized:
· Hung Gar Master, by the Hong Kong Lam Jo Hung Gar Institute.
· Wing Chun Master by the Hong Kong Ving Tsun Athletic Assoc.
and by the Yip Man Martial Arts Association.
·Tai Chi Master by the Hong Kong Cheng Tin Hung Tai Chi Institute.
·Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, and Kali expert.
Master Li Hon Ki, is the Official South American Representative of Grand Master Lam Jo (Hung Gar), and Grand Master Duncan Leung (Wing Chun).
Master Li Hon Ki studied Acupuncture at the Chinese Medical Research Institute and Osteology at the Ying Wa Institute of Chinese Medicine. He continues to travel to China to further his knowledge in medicine at the Xia Men University.
Master Li, is a former actor, stuntman, technical director of many Hong Kong films, from the two biggest cinematographic companies in Hong Kong, Golden Harvest and Shaw Brothers, he worked with many stars like Gordon Liu, Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee.
Master Li, is the author of "VING TSUN", published in 1996.
Master Li, is the founder of the "International Li Hon Ki Martial Art and Chinese Herbalists Association".
Sifu Li Hong Ki has now retired from teaching.
